WestEnd Customer Circle is the customer protection centre of the building. We would like to involve customer protection experts to ensure that complaints are handled in-house, straight away, and on the spot, rather than through lengthy telephone calls, letters and with the help of the authorities afterwards.

Did you know?
- Any newly purchased products have 2 years of warranty; 3 years of warranty is applicable to consumer durables.
- In case of any complaints, the retailer is responsible for proving the origin of the defect during the first half a year of the warranty period; afterwards the burden of proof and the related costs are borne by the consumer.
- In case of consumer durables specified in decrees, 1 year extended warranty is applicable in addition to the implied warranty.
- Any warranty claims can be validated using receipts and invoices, while extended warranty claims can be validated with the warranty certificate.
- In case of implied warranty or warranty, the consumer can primarily ask for correction or the replacement of the product; only if these cannot be performed can the customer withdraw from the contract (and be refunded).
- In case of complaints, the shop is obligated to make records with contents specified in legislation; a copy of the record is received by the customer.
- The retailer is not obliged to replace faultless products; nevertheless plenty of shops do this voluntarily with certain conditions, particularly during the Christmas period.
